Maintenance at the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) plant will disrupt the country’s LNG exports in the short term.

Train 5 at the 22 mtpa NLNG plant has been offline for scheduled maintenance since 25 May but is expected to come back online in July. The train has a liquefaction capacity of 4.1 mtpa. Nigerian LNG exports declined by 19.5% on an annual basis in June as a result of the outage, to 1.28 mt.
