Sharp drop in North African pipeline exports to Europe

A sharp drop in flows through all four gas pipelines that connect North Africa to southern Europe meant deliveries in Week 7 stood 37.9% lower than they were during the same week in 2018. The most significant decline was registered on the Trans-Med pipeline from Algeria to Italy, where volumes were down by 51.6% year on year and by 27.2% week on week.
