
Representatives from EU member states found a common position on the revised EU Gas Directive at a key meeting in Brussels on Friday after Germany, France and other EU states reached compromises on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. This means negotiations between the three main EU institutions can start this week with the aim of reaching a final agreement before the European elections in May.
