China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) has replaced France’s Total in Phase 11 of Iran’s South Pars gas project, the semi-official Iranian news agency ICANA reported on Sunday, quoting Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh.
“CNPC has officially replaced Total [...] but it has not started work practically. We must negotiate with the Chinese company to determine when it will begin operating,” said Zanganeh.
