Eni has said it has signed two partnership agreements with Total to explore off the coast of Algeria, Reuters has reported.
The agreements represent a second wave of deals between major IOCs working in Algeria following a similar heads of agreement between Eni and ExxonMobil in February last year.
The agreements have the approval of Algeria’s state-owned Sonatrach, although no details have been provided as to where exactly the joint exploration will take place.
