
Europe’s gas market will become more volatile as a result of changes to the storage and transport sectors combined with developments in global LNG demand, delegates at the European Autumn Gas Conference in Berlin heard on Wednesday.
Piero Ercoli, senior vice president for market analysis design and strategy support at Italy’s Eni, said the emergence of two different models for the storage business in Europe will be one factor that will make the market more unpredictable.
