An LNG cargo produced by Petronas and sold last month on the Chongqing Petroleum and Gas Exchange (CQPGX) arrived from Malaysia at PetroChina’s terminal in Rudong in Jiangsu province on Thursday, the Chongqing Daily reported on Friday.
The vessel was carrying 65,696 tons of LNG, which was sold for $10.5/MMBtu.
It was the first sale of overseas gas on the CQPGX since it opened for trading on 26 April.
