
Australian LNG exporters are scrambling to take advantage of China-US trade tensions by stepping in to help meet China’s gas needs, which are set to rise ahead of the northern hemisphere winter and as a result of the ongoing restrictions on coal use.
Woodside’s recently announced LNG cooperation agreement with ENN – one of the largest private energy companies in China – will see the two jointly investigate opportunities for cooperation in LNG marketing, trading and shipping.
