Russia’s Rosneft has purchased seismic data on the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea for $1.1 million, Azerbaijani news agency Turan reported on Monday.
Rosneft Chief Executive Igor Sechin signed an agreement with State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic in September for a joint study of the potential of the Goshadash block in the Absheron Peninsula in Azerbaijan.
