DEA Norge, a subsidiary of Germany’s oil and gas company DEA, has received a permit to drill wildcat well 7321/4-1 in production licence 721 on Norway’s Continental Shelf, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said in a note on Thursday.
The well is located around 140 km north of the Johan Castberg field and 350 km northwest of Hammerfest. DEA Norge is the operator of the licence, with a 40% share. The other licence holders are Aker BP (with 40%) and Wintershall Norge...
