
A deal that would see gas from a giant Venezuelan field exported to neighbouring Trinidad and Tobago is being held up because the two sides cannot agree on a price for the volumes, according to sources in Trinidad.
Two Trinidadian sources close to the deal, who both spoke on condition of anonymity, told Interfax Natural Gas Daily on Wednesday that Venezuelan state-run company PDVSA was demanding a higher price for gas from the Dragón field than Trinidad is prepared to accept.
