Feature China’s Shale Gas Rush26 May — China will face its worst power shortage this summer since 2004, as the use of air conditioners increases energy demand to peak levels. To help meet surging energy demand and secure fuel supplies while lowering harmful emissions, China has fast-tracked its unconventional gas plans.
