Average LNG import prices continue to fall in Northeast Asia, but they remain above spot prices.

As summer gets under way in Northeast Asia, the premium of spot prices over average contract prices seen during the peak summer demand period in previous years will fail to materialise. As the spot market remains relatively loose, although prices will be pushed up by higher seasonal demand, the small rises expected over the coming months will not be enough to raise spot above average contract prices.
