Turkmen state-run gas company Turkmengaz and Afghan Gas Corp. signed an agreement on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline on Tuesday.
The signing took place at the committee’s latest meeting on the building of TAPI, official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.
The project members reached agreement on the creation of a consortium – TAPI Ltd. – which will build the pipeline and operate it; on the preparation of founding documents; and on the consortium’s registration.
