Nigeria, the world’s fourth-largest LNG exporter, is considering importing LNG via an FSRU to help shore up the country’s fragile power supply.

Godwill Dike, commercial manager for Nigeria LNG (NLNG), told journalists at the World Gas Conference in Washington DC on Thursday that Nigeria had received interest from several FSRU specialists.
