Power shortages in Cameroon are hurting gas sales from the Logbaba power project, Victoria Oil and Gas Chief Executive John Scott said in a letter to shareholders on Thursday.
The project, which supplies gas from the Logbaba field to industrial users in Cameroon’s largest city Douala, reported an average supply rate of 2 million cubic feet (56.64 thousand cubic metres: Mcm) per day – 22.66 Mcm/d lower than the last update given earlier this year.
