
The decision of United States major ExxonMobil to book capacity at the planned Wilhelmshaven LNG terminal in Germany suggests developer Uniper may soon be ready to take an FID on the project. Exxon signed a heads of agreement on Friday to book long-term capacity at the FSRU-based terminal, which is due to start up in 2022 with a processing capacity of 10 billion cubic metres per year.
