Bulgaria plans to set up a state-owned company by the end of the year to operate a gas trading hub in the Black Sea city of Varna, Reuters reported on Friday, citing Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova.
The Bulgarian government will sign a memorandum of cooperation with Austria's Central European Gas Hub – a trading platform for the Baumgarten hub – to provide liquidity for the new company, said Petkova.
