
Xaris Energy’s long-delayed plans for an LNG-to-power plant in the Namibian port of Walvis Bay have been brought back to life. The project has been redesigned to export power elsewhere in southern Africa and sell it to local private players rather than to NamPower, Namibia’s state-owned electricity utility.
