Gazprom has increased its 2018 borrowing programme to a record RUB 740 billion ($11 billion), Chief Financial Officer Alexander Ivannikov said on the sidelines of VTB Capital’s ‘Russia Calling’ forum on Wednesday.
The programme had initially been set at RUB 417 billion, a figure that was subsequently raised to RUB 518 billion and then raised again last week to the current total.
“We have nearly fulfilled our borrowing programme. There will be no public borrowing this year,” he said.
