The share of solar and wind power in Pakistan’s generation mix is set to double by 2022, when projects forming the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are set to be completed, according to Pakistan Today.
Solar and wind provided 5% of Pakistan’s power in 2013, but the figure is forecast to reach 10% by 2022.
