The company that operates the Medgaz pipeline, which takes Algerian gas to Spain, is working on a project to expand the line’s capacity by 25%. Spain’s recovering demand for gas, which has rebounded from a 10-year low in 2014, means it may be the right time to invest in long-term supplies from Algeria.
