LNG Canada plans to proceed to FID despite issues over the nationalisation of an oil pipeline and trade tensions between the United States and Canada, Andy Calitz, chief executive of the project, told Bloomberg in an interview.

“The overall conditions for LNG Canada to go ahead in 2018 are quite good,” said Calitz.
“That is, and feels, so very different to 2016 when the project was delayed.”
