United States-based New Fortress Energy has agreed to buy Shannon LNG, the developer of an LNG terminal project at Ballylongford in Ireland, the Irish Independent has reported.
The development envisages the construction of a jetty, four 200,000 cubic metre storage tanks and connections to the Irish national gas network.
The project is estimated to cost €500 million ($583 million).
