Argentina will resume gas exports to neighbouring Chile in September following an 11-year hiatus, the AFP newswire has reported, citing the energy ministers of both countries.
“We are repealing all the prohibitions that we had in the last decade. Today we already have five export permits requested for Chile,” Argentine Energy Minister Javier Iguacel was quoted as saying after talks with his Chilean counterpart Susana Jiménez in Santiago.
