The Dominican Republic’s push to increase its gas-to-power capacity has been boosted by the potential resurrection of a large-scale gas-fired plant, Business News Americas has reported.

The Dominican Republic’s power regulator, the SIE, has recommended that authorities grant Energía 2000 a concession to operate the 360 MW Manzanillo gas-to-power complex for up to 30 years, the newswire reported.
