Construction on the Turkmen section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline has been completed and work on the Afghan section has begun, The Express Tribune reported on Friday.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov was in the city of Herat in western Afghanistan with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani this week for the groundbreaking ceremony on the Afghan section.
