Moderate seasonal consumption could set the tone for gas demand growth in Northeast Asia in 2017. 

More moderate seasonal temperatures are expected in Japan and South Korea in February following a wave of cold weather that has hit parts of Northeast Asia and brought heavy snow to some regions. With temperatures forecast to be around average in both countries in February and March, the greatest weather-related boost for seasonal demand in the region has already been seen. This will limit the upside for gas demand growth in Q1.
