Front-month futures and spot prices at the Henry Hub have remained under pressure so far in June as the start of summer in the United States has been mild. However, prices are expected to increase in July as temperatures rise and air conditioning-related gas demand ratchets up. The increasingly likely prospect of a slowdown in gas injection rates during July in the South Central Region (SCR) of the US, which houses the Henry Hub, will also support prices.
