
Australian industrialist Andrew Forrest’s privately owned Squadron Energy is partnering with Japan’s Marubeni and Jera to install an FSRU at Port Kembla near Wollongong in New South Wales (NSW). The project, to be carried out through the Australian Industrial Energy joint venture, will import 2 mtpa of LNG that will be supplied directly to large industrial customers.
