Distributed generation set for a boost in China

Chinese investors are regaining confidence in gas-fired distributed generation. Last year’s gas price cut and power market reforms improved the economics of such projects, and the sector is set for growth.

"The gas-fired distributed generation sector is on course to enter a rapid period of development in the next five years," said Li Xianrui, a research fellow at the China Academy of Building Research.
