The glut in the LNG market is increasing the challenges for Angola and Egypt.
The 5.2 mtpa Angola LNG plant resumed exports in September following scheduled maintenance. The plant exported a spot cargo to Brazil in September and has issued tenders for two more cargoes since then. However, finding new buyers will be a struggle as Latin American demand is declining and competition remains tough from existing suppliers.
