Dutch gas production will be especially dependent on the weather this winter.
The cap for output from the Netherlands’ Groningen field is 27 bcm for this gas year, while for the 2016/2017 gas year it has been reduced to 24 bcm. If the winter is mild or average, peak winter output could fall by around 11% on an annual basis.
