Capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG plant in the US is set to remain underutilised over the coming months.

Sabine Pass is currently exporting from three trains with a combined capacity of 13.5 mtpa, while exports from the 4.5 mtpa fourth train are expected in H2 2017. Portfolio players such as Shell, Gas Natural Fenosa and Kogas are trading LNG from the plant, and more portfolio players are expected to join as the fourth train comes online.
