Upstream investment cuts spurred by weak oil prices will continue to stymie Latin American gas production this year and next.
The combined marketed gas production from key consumers in Latin America and the Caribbean fell by 3.4% on an annual basis in the first seven months of 2016, to 127.1 bcm. GGA expects this figure to fall by 3% year on year in 2016, to 217 bcm.
