Weather limits US gas exports to Mexico

High air conditioning-related gas demand and floods in Louisiana have limited the United States’ flexibility to export pipeline gas to Mexico. This has exacerbated gas supply tightness in Mexico’s southwest, forcing it to rely more heavily on LNG imported via the Manzanillo terminal.
