Ukraine’s Naftogaz plans to extend the term of a $2 billion loan from Russia’s Gazprombank by five years, the Ukrainian national oil and gas company’s Chief Executive Evhen Bakulin told reporters this week.
“We plan to extend it by five years. We’re working on this now,” Bakulin said. However, the Ukrainian parliament needs to pass a law on state guarantees for the loan term’s extension first, he said.
