Latin America’s total gas rig count holds steady in July

Gas-focused drilling in Latin America was flat in July compared with June. Seventeen were drilling for gas in the region during the month, according to Baker Hughes data. By contrast, only 14 gas-focused rigs were drilling in the region in May, which was the lowest since Baker Hughes began publishing breakdowns of rigs by region in 1995.
