
Consultants will this week submit bids to Tanzania Petroleum Development Corp. (TPDC) to conduct a feasibility study on a gas pipeline running from Dar es Salaam to landlocked Uganda.
TPDC is looking for guidance on the optimal route for the pipeline – which it wants to run across eight local regions, passing through Tanga, a port on the Indian Ocean, and Mwanza, a port on Lake Victoria – as well as an assessment of potential demand centres along the route.
