IOCs must become better at offering lower-capacity LNG solutions to help the fuel gain traction in small emerging markets, particularly those that do not have a history of gas use, according to experts at a breakfast briefing held by Interfax Global Energy and QED Consulting on Thursday.

Delivering LNG to emerging markets has proven difficult because the typical solutions offered are for expensive multimillion-ton regasification projects.
