
Eastern Australia’s tightening gas market has triggered a third set of plans for installing an FSRU in the country, this time near South Australia’s capital, Adelaide.
Melbourne-based consultancy IG Partners is developing the project, which will be located at Pelican Point, Outer Harbor. Japan’s Mitsubishi is a front-runner to supply LNG from the North West Shelf (NWS) project via MIMI, its joint venture with Mitsui.
