Egypt is looking to sustain the positive momentum in its gas sector with a new licensing round. State-owned Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS) plans to invite exploration bids for around nine onshore and offshore concession areas in mid-June 2018, a spokesman for the company told Interfax Natural Gas Daily

EGAS is preparing documentation for the round, which will focus on gas opportunities over oil prospects. The exact number of blocks to be tendered is yet to be finalised because not all areas have received permitting...
