The European Commission published its latest list of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) last month. The document, a version of which is released every two years, is a ‘wish list’ of projects Brussels believes will help Europe meet its energy and climate goals.
There are 173 cross-border projects in the latest list, many of which are targeted at diversifying the sources of EU member states’ energy supplies.
PCIs have access to funding programmes intended to speed up project delivery and attract private investors....
