Bahrain’s LNG terminal could supply gas to Saudi Arabia when complete, Bahraini Oil Minister Mohammed bin Khalifa al-Khalifa suggested during his announcement of the completion deadline for a new oil pipeline between the island-state and its neighbour. But while Bahrain may want to send gas to Saudi Arabia, the Saudis may not be willing recipients.
The LNG terminal, which will be capable of regasifying 4.1 billion cubic metres per year when it comes onstream in Q1 2019, is designed primarily to meet local industrial demand. But...
