The volume of North African pipeline gas delivered to Europe rose by 21% in Week 28 from the previous week. There was little change in the volumes transported through three of the pipelines, but deliveries via the TransMed – which brings gas from Algeria to Italy – increased by 45% in response to rising power sector demand caused by low hydroelectric output.
