Small-scale projects to boost European gas sector

Europe’s gas sector faces an uncertain future as the region’s demand flatlines, but there is still room for growth in eastern Europe and the small-scale LNG sector, experts at the European Gas Summit in Nice said on Monday.

There is growing demand for small-scale LNG in central and eastern Europe, according to Piotr Kus, director of Poland’s transmission system operator (TSO), Gaz-System.
