
The competition to supply LNG to east China is set to intensify as a slew of new terminals in the urban area around Shanghai start up in the next few years.
The latest project to make progress in the Yangtze River Delta region is Sinopec’s proposed facility for the wealthy coastal city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang province, which will be the state major’s second LNG terminal on the eastern seaboard.
