Shell is selling its New Zealand assets. "These assets are profitable, well maintained and are an important part of New Zealand’s energy mix," Shell New Zealand Chairman Rob Jager said in a statement on Thursday.
Shell holds a 83.75% stake in the Maui gas and condensate field in the Taranaki Basin, which started production in 1979.
