Russian companies are interested in working in Bolivia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a recent meeting with his Bolivian counterpart, Evo Morales.

Russian companies are interested in working in Bolivia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a recent meeting with his Bolivian counterpart, Evo Morales.

Gazprom is involved in Bolivia’s Azero, Ipati and Aquio blocks. Total E&P Bolivie owns 60% and is the operator of the Ipati and Aquio projects, while Gazprom International and Argentina’s Tecpetrol de Bolivia each own 20%.

Total E&P Bolivie discovered the Incahauasi gas field in the northern section of Ipati in 2004. It deemed the reserves as commercial after drilling three wells.
