Pressure on prices ahead as Rough set to reopen

Warmer weather and the start of withdrawals from the UK's Rough storage facility will put pressure on gas prices in early December. A spate of colder weather in parts of the UK has forced up heating-related demand and driven up prices. The NBP day-ahead rose to nearly 50 p/th on Tuesday – a jump of more than 2 p/th from late last week. But while below-average temperatures will persist through the next few days, milder temperatures are forecast to return within the week.
